I offer a wide range of clinical services, including work with adults, children, teens, and families, and psychological assessment.  My areas of expertise include:

  • Anxiety Disorders (including OCD and PTSD)
  • Depression
  • Gender Identity and Transgender related struggles (including hormone treatment therapy, and gender variance in children)
  • Work with teenagers (including depression, anxiety, self harm, and transitions to adulthood)
  • Couples Therapy
  • Trauma
  • LGBTQ safe treatment (including providing kink-affirming therapy space)

Treatment is tailored to the set of needs and struggles that each client brings in.  I work using a collaborative relational approach that emphasizes both finding immediate solutions to distress, as well as longer term psychodynamic techniques to increase insight and create lasting, more deeply rooted change. Incorporating holistic approaches to mental health, such as mindfulness and spirituality for clients who choose to explore these coping strategies, is an additional interest of mine.  I completed my dissertation research on the that role spirituality plays in coping with the acute and long-term effects of trauma and I believe that, for many people, spirituality is an important addition to the therapy experience.
